We’re excited to announce that Leeway has launched a crowdfunding campaign to support our Healthy Relationship Project - and we need your help! This campaign is live for just one week, and every donation will go directly towards raising awareness, providing advice, and supporting young girls and women (aged 13-18) who are in unhealthy relationships.
Why This Matters
Many young people find themselves in toxic relationships without knowing where to turn. These relationships can involve coercive control, gaslighting, or pressure from partners that gradually erode confidence and wellbeing. Sadly, social media is sometimes used to manipulate, control, or even blackmail young people, including through sharing indecent images or tracking their movements. Ending a relationship is not always simple, especially when these pressures escalate.
How the Healthy Relationship Project Helps
Through this project, we offer tailored, age-appropriate support to help young women recognise the signs of unhealthy relationships and make informed choices. Our approach combines evidence-based strategies, practical coping mechanisms, and specialist resources hosted on our website. We provide both individual and group support, giving young people a safe space to talk, learn, and take steps to protect themselves.
