What your money can do

We couldn’t keep providing support without the generous donations we receive from the public. Here are some of the ways we can put that money to use.

£10

£10 could provide an activity pack and a toy for a child coming in to a refuge

£15

£15 could provide a starter pack for families - such as toiletries and towels

£20

£20 could provide a mobile phone which can be locked to an emergency number

£50

£50 could provide 2h phone line crisis support and advice

£100

£100 could enable 10 women to receive outreach support

Ways you can donate

If you would like to support our work, there are a number of ways you can donate:

Financial donations

Donate online

As a UK charity, Gift Aid allows Leeway to claim back the basic rate tax already paid on donations by the donor. This means that, on your behalf, we can claim back from the government 25p for every £1 donated.

Donate by post

Monetary donations can be made payable to 'Leeway' and sent to:

PO Box Leeway
City Hall
Norwich

Will & legacies

No matter how large or small the amount, we are always grateful to those who leave Leeway a donation in their will. Your generosity goes a long way towards helping us to continue delivering the services that people experiencing domestic abuse need. If you would like to leave a donation to Leeway in your will, please contact us for more information.

Seasonal donations

Leaving your home can be difficult with very few or even no possessions. Where possible we try to bring a sense of normality to the lives of people living in our safe houses – particularly at Christmas and Easter. Please help us bring some happiness to the women and children by supporting our seasonal donation campaigns.
