"Lee'd The Way" is an exciting family friendly running challenge taking place at Catton Park on Sunday January 20th. How many one mile laps of the park could your team complete in 3 hours? There's only one way to find out!
The course is a 1 mile, off-road lap of Catton Park. It will be signposted and marshalled throughout the challenge. The aim is to complete laps of the course whilst raising money and awareness for Leeway as supported by the Chairman of Broadland District Council.
Teams can be up to 6 people strong or as few as 1 person. At the end each lap, your team time card will be stamped by the officials, after which it may be either passed to the next team member, or retained by the individual as they attempt another lap.
There are no limits on how many laps an individual team member can do and team mates can run in any order. Any number of team mates can accompany each other around the course but only 1 person can record 1 lap at any one time. E.g. Runner A can run a lap on their own and will score 1 lap; Runner B may run the course accompanied by their 2 children and dog, but will still only score 1 lap.
Dogs are welcome, but should be on short leads and under control at all times on the course. One dog per competitor.
There will be refreshments available to purchase as well as arts and craft activities taking place in the Park Lodge building.
Entry fees: £5 per person, or £20 per team (maximum of 6 people per team).
You are also welcome to raise sponsorship to help raise more money to help survivors of domestic abuse and their families in our region. You could set up a super easy Virgin Money Giving page, which allows your friends and family to make direct bank payments to Leeway.
