At its first public AGM in some years, the Board of Trustees were delighted to share Leeway's Annual Review of 2024/25, and formally introduce the new CEO, Jools Ramsey-Palmer.
Taking place on White Ribbon Day, the event brought together commissioners, funders, partners, staff and Trustees to reflect on the impact of gender-based violence, locally, nationally and globally. It also showcased the vital support Leeway offers to those living with the experience of domestic abuse across Norfolk and Suffolk, and the life-changing effect this has for survivors.
Jools Ramsey-Palmer, Chief Executive of Leeway, said: "Whilst it's extremely concerning to see the significant rise in demand for Leeway's services, I am relieved that people feel able to come forward and seek the support they need and deserve.
As the new CEO, my focus will be to ensure we continue to offer the best possible services to survivors of domestic abuse and have the right services in place to meet the growth in demand."
