Due to the nature of being a charity, if it wasn't for the generous support from various organisations and individuals, Leeway wouldn't be where it is now. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters we have been able to provide adults and children with the right support and services they need to start a new life away from domestic abuse.
Mills & Reeve
In May 2015 we were proudly selected to be Mills & Reeve's charity of the year which runs from 1st June to 31st May.
Mills & Reeve are a law firm with offices across the UK, including their office in Norwich which holds 240 employees. Each office chooses a local charity to fundraise for and have raised nearly £80,000 over the past few years. The Norwich branch has raised nearly £10,000 each year for their chosen charity over the last two years which is a phenomenal amount of money and makes a huge difference to the charities they are supporting.
Fundraising
The law firm has been organising several fundraising activities for Leeway such as an ice bucket challenge which raised over £1,200 as well as a fun filled quiz. There are also plans for a 'dress down' day in the local office as well as a sports day in September with the hope to raise even more money for Leeway.
