Launching Our Annual Easter Campaign

19 March 2019
Easter Eggs for our easter campaign

Following on from the success of previous years, we are running an Easter Campaign again this year. We’ll be collecting Easter Eggs for the women and children we support across our seven refuges and in the community. We were overwhelmed with the fantastic response that our Christmas Campaign received, and we hope that our Easter Campaign proves to be just as successful!

Purpose of the Campaign

Many of the people we support in refuge will have fled an abusive partner with very few, if any, personal belongings. We’ve seen in previous years that the donations of Easter Eggs will put a smile on the faces of those we support. It’s a small gift that shows people who have experienced domestic abuse that there are plenty of people thinking of them and supporting them.

We have already had a fantastic response on social media, with some of our supporters already collecting donations in their local communities.

Drop-Off Points

We currently have three drop-off points in Norwich and one in Drayton.

  • 79 Thorpe Road (Cremorne Lane Entrance), NR1 1UA (open 9am-4.30pm mon-fri)
  • Roys of Magdalen Street, NR3 1AA (open 8am-6pm mon-sat; 10am-4pm sun)
  • Virgin Money Lounge 4B Castle St, NR2 1PD (open 9am-5pm mon-sat; 9am-1pm sun)

  •  Drayton Tesco Superstore, Fakenham Rd, NR8 6PT (open 6am-12midnight mon-sat; 10am-4pm sun)

The drop-off point will be open between 9am and 4:30pm.

The deadline to get any donations to our drop-off point is Friday 12th April. This is to allow us time to sort through the donations and arrange for them to be distributed to our service users.
