After an absence of a few years, our popular Skydive fundraising event returned recently, raising vital funds to support those experiencing domestic abuse in Norfolk.
Glorious sunshine and clear skies greeted the 25 supporters who took part in the fundraising challenge at Beccles Airfield, helping to raise an amazing £12,500!
Well done to everyone that took part in the event and to those that supported the fundraising efforts of our Skydivers – your support will make a massive difference.
About NIDAS
All money raised from the event will go towards enhancing the NIDAS service (Norfolk Integrated Domestic Abuse Service), which Leeway delivers alongside other local service providers.
NIDAS is a countywide service supporting those who are experiencing domestic abuse and are assessed at being high or medium risk of harm, regardless of where they live across the county.
Since launching in January 2022, the service has expanded to provide specialist support for LGBTQ+ survivors, older adults, and other groups that may face additional barriers when accessing support.

We hold regular fundraising events throughout the year, providing a range of fun events for supporters to get involved with.
As well as this, many supporters raise money for us by doing their own fundraising activities! It could be holding a coffee morning or cake sale, a sponsored walk, hosting a quiz, or having a bingo night.
