Leeway always responds as fast as we can, please note that timescales can vary due to staffing levels, and these are general guidelines:
Our Helpline will be able to provide support or advice. If the line is engaged a return call to an answer phone message will be made on the same day if possible.
For Refuge Accommodation: We will work to find overnight accommodation for the same day if possible, and if our refuges do not have space we have access to systems that can help us find you somewhere as close as possible to a specific area or across the country. A risk assessment questionnaire will need to be completed and you will need to find your own transport to the refuge.
Outreach Support in the Norwich, Broadland, South Norfolk, North Norfolk areas: We currently have 3 drop in centres running where appointments are not needed. Please call us for details of times, dates and locations. Unfortunately we do have a waiting list for home visits or one to one appointments, but if you are in need of help it is important you call us for immediate advice over the phone and to register on our waiting list so that we can get someone to you as soon as possible.
Services and Outreach in the Great Yarmouth Area: All enquiries are assessed within 24 hours of the call and a call back from a specialist worker will be made within 48 hours. This call will confirm when you will be seen and registered or if you have been added to the waiting list.
